Hey everyone, I’ve been looking over this layout for about a month now so I figured I’d just go ahead and put it up. It’s actually a mash of two really old designs I did back in 2007 – 08. On their own they both felt incomplete but mashed together they made this. A few minor tweeks need to be done here and there but I think it looks pretty good. It’s probably one of my favorite layouts. Go ahead and let me know what you guys think.

Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, is set to make her singing debut on a track also featuring Gerard Way, Andrew WK and Weird Al Yankovic.

“Seventeen-year-old Cobain sings on ‘MySpace’, which will appear on the eponymous debut album by Evelyn Evelyn, who are made up of Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer and Seattle musician Jason Webley. Other acts on the track include Tegan And Sara, ex-Hold Steady keyboardist Franz Nicolay, Margaret Cho, Eugene Mirman and various members of Mindless Self Indulgence, reports Twentyfourbit.com.”

Interesting, I wonder if Lyn-Z will feature on the track too. More about that over at NME.com.

My Chemical Romance have cancelled their appearance at this years Soundwave festival due to Gerard Way’s severe vocal problems.

“We are really sorry that we’ve had to cancel this tour, and apologise for any inconvenience it has caused,” says singer Way. “The last thing we ever want to do is cancel shows, but we’ll be back to Australia to make it up to the fans as soon as possible.”

Any ticket holders for the My Chemical Romance show scheduled at the Big Top, Luna Park on Thursday 25th February are advised to contact their point of purchase to arrange a full refund. Frank has posted a blog over at the official site, with more concerning Gerard’s vocal problems.

My Chemical Romance were mentioned at VirtualFestivals.com as being possible headliners at this years Reading & Leeds festivals.

Soundgarden and My Chemical Romance are strongly rumoured as headliners for Reading and Leeds and if Blink 182 are confirmed, it would make three American headliners for 2010.

The article is actually just about Blink 182’s possible appearance at the festivals, My Chem just got a mention at the end there.
