Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing Watchmen Director’s Cut here in the UK on November 30th. The 2-disc cut was released earlier this year in the United States and features My Chemical Romance’s Desolation Row music video. You can pre-order at hmv.co.uk now.

A countdown of the 100 “best songs of the decade” was posted at Metromix Baltimore yesterday (24th November). My Chemical Romance’s I’m Not Okay (I Promise) was featured at number 76.

I’ve just dug up an article posted at Entertainment Daily back in July. It mentions High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale’s change of image for her second studio album “Guilty Pleasure”, and how it was apparently inspired by My Chemical Romance.

“…her new album, “Guilty Pleasure,” reveals a sexy side of the singer: The cover features her in a tight black skirt and semi-revealing top, and her inspirations for the album’s music include the rock group My Chemical Romance.”

Some of you hardcore fans will remember when I posted this the first time around!. This Deftones have launched a benefit auction this week in support of their bassist and brother Chi Cheng, who has been in a semi-conscious state since being involved in a car accident in November 2008. His family have accumulated an overwhelming amount of medical bills that insurance does not entirely cover. The Deftones have made it their mission to raise significant funds to help ensure Chi’s recovery by launching a benefit auction in association with CharityBuzz.com.
